I love copper!

Marriage Morning

Lord Alfredo Tennyson

Light, so low upon earth,
You send a flash to the sun.
Here is the golden close of love,
All my wooing is done.
Oh, the woods and the meadows,
Woods where we hid from the wet,
Stiles where we stay'd to be kind,
Meadows in which we met!

Light, so low in the vale
You flash and lighten afar,
For this is the golden morning of love,
And you are his morning star.
Flash, I am coming, I come,
By meadow and stile and wood,
Oh, lighten into my eyes and heart,
Into my heart and my blood!

Heart, are you great enough
For a love that never tires?
O' heart, are you great enough for love?
I have heard of thorns and briers,
Over the meadow and stiles,
Over the world to the end of it
Flash for a million miles.

For the fair!

I'm preparing for a fair in Belgium and my challenge is to make nice jewelry with the cheapest pieces possible... not easy! The components are common metal, some are sterling silver plated like the ear wires and headpins, and the cost has been reduced to a minimum.

Flower Child

Lenny Kravitz

Dressed in purple velvets
With a flower in her hair
Feel her gentle spirit
As the champa fills the air
She wears rubys on her fingers
Tiny bells upon her toes
She’s the finest thing
I’ve ever seen
Love that ring inside her nose

Flower child yeah, flower child
Flower child oh yeah

She’s a psychedelic princess
On a magic carpet ride
And where her trip will carry you
Is somewhere you can’t find
She’s on a plane of higher consciousness
Meditation is the key
She’s got her shit together
’cause her soul and mind are free

Flower child, free yeah yeah yeah yeah,
Flower child that is
Flower child, oh yeah
Flower child yeah
My little flower child
Flower child yeah

She’s a child of martin luther
As a freedom fighter she
Speaks of liberation on the land
And on the sea
Her eyes are made of sunshine
And her lips are jelly sweet

Flower child yeah
My little flower child
You gonna free me

Five Little Pussy Cats

Five little pussy cats playing near the door;
One ran and hid inside
And then there were four.

Four little pussy cats underneath a tree;
One heard a dog bark
And then there were three.

Three little pussy cats thinking what to do;
One saw a little bird
And then there were two.

Two little pussy cats sitting in the sun;
One ran to catch his tail
And then there was one.

One little pussy cat looking for some fun;
He saw a butterfly--
And then there was none.

Pablo Neruda
