Eu estava vendo o unico canal brasileiro que recebo aqui em Luxemburgo (portanto não é realmente uma questão de escolha) e me lembrei o porque de não gostar dele (além de toda a propaganda religiosa insuportavel e de péssimo nivel que eles impõem). Esse pessoal fala português pior que eu, que ja estou ha 20 anos fora do Brasil. Alias, para quem notou, me faltam alguns acentos, mas é por causa do meu teclado. Ou deveria dizer "por conta"? Não tenho nada contra o "por conta", mas quando todo mundo so usa essa expressão em detrimento de tantas outras (causado por, por causa, em consequência de, e por ai afora), não da pra aguentar. Como se não bastasse o gerundismo horroroso dos ultimos anos, ainda tem a mudança radical de risco de vida em risco de morte (mesmo que alguns possam argumentar que o certo seria risco à vida, eu entendo risco de vida como risco de perder a vida).

Sera que não tem gente na imprensa brasileira que teria a coragem de se rebelar contra esses modismos e se negasse a repetir esse tipo de coisa como uma Maria vai com as outras?

1. I get high when I eat mushrooms, just the common type. I must have some kind of rare reaction to them. I literally felt drunk the first time I ate some.
2. I usually guess the ending of most the movies I watch, and books I read. It can be very annoying.

4. I forgot my own name once. I was 27, so no, it's not age related.
5. I'm afraid of heights.
6. Funny that Beatrice (www.friedpeas.com) mentioned it, because I have the same thing with my sense of smell. It's really one of my best senses.
7. People have a hard time guessing where I come from. From Singapore to Israel, to all the Mediterranean countries, including Southern Europe, Northern Africa and Middle East, not to mention South America, I have been told I could be from very different countries. I don't have a typical face or a typical accent.

Spring in New Hampshire
